IL LEE on view at LACMA celebrating the opening of the new David Geffen Galleries

Untitled 978 F (1996-97) by IL LEE — one of the large-scale black ink on paper works from IL LEE’s seminal 978 series of powerful drawings and part of the permanent collection of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is currently on view to celebrate the opening of the long-awaited David Geffen Galleries at LACMA. In many ways, the museum itself is a work of art and the new David Geffen Galleries are an extraordinary addition both architecturally and in its presentation of the museum’s extensive and diverse permanent collection. This inaugural exhibition is a must see event.
